it takes a fever of 38 degrees, an inflamed throat and a runny nose to convince me to put a full stop to the papers i'm marking, the checklist im ticking off and just rest. zone out. pause.
and im enjoying it, despite how food tastes bland, and i cant smell much of the aroma around me, im enjoying this slowed momentum in my life. Im liking how i can convince myself and give myself good enough reasons to just indulge in what i usually cannot. like my drama serials, like just surfing aimlessly, like just taking time off to type in here.
maybe it's the effects of the fever. makes things a little dreamy, and whimsical. finding that im a little more sensitive to the things around me..my music, rather than being in the background, are painting thoughts of gardens and green fields, with balloons overhead...what i spy with my little eye creates a whole train of afterthoughts. I spy ladies with chunky and elaborate necklaces. Statement pieces which brings to mind what i've been gushing over--the works of yutong :) Her floral pieces makes me feel like a little girl once again, with a long white skirt and just twirling in endless laughter on a vast green field. *i think i dont make much sense here, but..oh well u can blame it on the fever.*for ladies who feel as passionately for fashion and jewellery...who believe that every piece of accessory has a story that awaits to be created about the person who owns it, who believe that fashion is the outward telling of what a person is feeling, should visit this website
http://onceuponatime-shop.comfor gentlemen too, who wants to endow your lady with that special, handmade, only piece in Singapore, should check this website out as well. Yutong takes customized orders and she has some amazing pieces inspired by Coraline, Little Red Riding Hood etc... share your story with her, and im sure she'll have a piece that suits your lady! :)
so here i am, spying, letting my heightened senses arouse my thoughts, from the music im plugged into, to what iv set my sight on...im getting in tune and in touch again with my thoughts, which has been kept away for too long... :)
