in the steadiness of things, the calmness of events,
it seems much easier to find bliss.

its as though our eyes becomes more opened to the lil things around
its as though our hearts begins to have space to appreciate what we have, and are receiving

after the hustle in the post-exams
i finally can doze off, without a care in the world

even when all the hype about the birthday has died down,
your love n efforts just brought it all back :)

how not to down my glass of bliss,
so delectable and pleasing to my taste?
to lie right next to you,
feeling the terry under my skin,
the sea breeze caressing me, weaving through my hair,
the sun rays, dim and romantic, from its setting
and just falling asleep, without a care in the world.

being pampered with drinks of my choice, and pizzas too.
laughing at you n me, at the ones passing by
relaxed and enjoying every word, every bite,
taking in the satisfaction derived from these easy, little things.
it was my first birthday at the beach,
and an awesome one with you too :) :)

No kites no picnic yet,
but i can smile thinking back on our precious moments,
just your hand in mine, your sideway glances into dat little frame next to you,
just having your footprints next to mine in the sand
and knowing inside,
we are made to last a lifetime
makes me feel like a million bucks :):)

swinging...it's making me restless

swinging, sometimes ecstasy, sometimes pain

unnerving, dissatisfied

but then i look outside and realise, the dark clouds are in mine.
